Split Quarter Square Triangles Quilt

This lightweight quilt is made up of multicolor split quarter square triangle quilt blocks. The Split Quarter Square Triangle quilt block is a variation of The Hour Glass quilt block. What makes it the Split Quarter is that one half of the block is one fabric, and the other half of the block is two different fabrics. The block contains one half-square triangle and two quarter-square segments to complete the square unit.

Please note this quilt is vintage meaning it had a life before it got to you. There will be some wear which is normal for the age and not considered a defect of the garment. The biggest flaw is a stain on the underside of the quilt as shown in photos. Looks like a tea or coffee spill. This item has been laundered and the stain will not come out. This is reflected in the price and ultimately isn't a noticeable part of the blanket as long as you use it quilt side up. And why wouldn't you?!
